my car is a sleeper yes it says SS but its still a cobalt that can walk down a 6.0 gto and a mach 1 mustang( he even gave me a thumbs up after the race)

Unless you take a SS and make it look like a bare bones LS with hubcaps and all, everyone knows what an SS is so thats not a sleeper.

This is my favorite example, however I don't know anybody who would fall for it. The steamroller tires give it away. Kurt did a nice job on the build though.

I saw this car in person at a car cruise with the hood closed no one gave it a second glance. He had a slightly smaller tire on the rear then than in the shoot for Hot Rod then. It even sounds like crap to sell the image.

SS badges are off it, LT2 front bumper, and rear bumper, high rise wing is coming off, steeleys don't clear my brembos but the LT wheels will.

And you think everyone knows its an SS, but even if they know its an SS very few know of the Turbo SS and even fewer know how modified mine is.

Personally I'd glass this as a sleeper.

Looks very normal really with a 3.6 V6 under the bonnet.

Tune it and then watch others do double takes as you speed off.
